Ayurveda, Yoga’s Sister Science

My stay at the Ayurvedic Health Center in Kovalam was the idyllic place to experiment how yoga and ayurveda embrace each other to purify the body and the mind. Ayurveda uses balanced diet and healing touch therapies based on each person’s personality or doshas called Vatha, Pitta and Kapha. The body becomes stronger, more energetic and purified from toxins, allowing a productive yoga practice with a clear mind and consciousness. Practicing yoga on and beyond the mat, eating nourishing food and meditating regularly encourage an optimum healthy lifestyle.
