Yoga, meditation and breathing techniques cultivate a well of calm for the mind and a well of peace for the soul. When we think we can control everything in life, we do not see the importance of those ancient practices. When we see everything in life controlling us and not knowing how to deal with uncertainties, more and more stress builds up, affecting our body, shrinking our mind, contracting our heart and dusting our soul. We lose the connection with our inner light, our guide, our truth and our certainty to fall into an unknown space of fear. Being calm is a skill and only through diligent and sincere practice can we polish it to remain calm and peaceful no matter what.
