Gratitude

We often hear our grand parents say it so naturally throughout the day. Our parents continue to remind us to be grateful and we often forget to carry on the tradition. We see it written on wellness magazines, healthy food stores, yoga studios, commercial gratitude journals and so on. Why is it that we are not anymore as thankful and grateful than the generations before us to the point that we need reminders?

The rapid pace of our lives encourages negative tendencies to always wanting and doing more impatiently inhibiting the opportunities to pause and reflect. The secret behind gratitude is a natural healing force that opens up to us only when the mind is in a calm and restful state. Then we can see and appreciate.

Gratitude is an ancient medicine for the body, the mind and the soul. The generations before us understood its healing effects before science research discovered that gratitude people are happier, healthier, more resilient and great friends. Gratitude is within us, let’s honor it continuously with love and devotion.

Namaste 🙏🏻
