Being physically disconnected from other beings is said to be a major cause of loneliness. Your arms are not reaching out to that loving hug, that big kiss, that warm feeling of holding tight your daughter, your son, your sister, your brother, your mom, your dad, your grandparents, your spouse, your friends. Your strong arms and your warm heart should not wait for the confinement to be over to love, to be compassionate, to care and be present for yourself and others.
When you allow worry, stress, impatience and anger to enter your life, dimming your light and clouding your mind, your arms get weak and your heart gets cold, unable to give and to receive that special big hug. It is time to sit, to relax your body, to be present with your thoughts and to surrender to your feelings all of them. It is time to be centered and dive into the kindness of your heart and the spaciousness of your breath to feel that loneliness is happening only outside. Inside, you are never alone. Strong invisible arms are holding you tight and your heart is simply bathing in that infinite source of LOVE and LIGHT.
