My secrets to a peaceful mind

Whenever my mind dives into a space of calm, my whole body feels complete, balanced and full of love, wanting nothing more or less. Some other times, my mind gets stuck in the surface, trapped into a bubble of tightness and agitated thoughts. I am aware of the wide fluctuations of energy and the impermanence of all sorts of things rising and falling over time.

My secret #1
Slow down, pause and taste one short moment many times a day to remember that I have a body, I breathe and I am alive.

My secret #2
Go to nature and feel one life in many creations. The trees from their roots to their leaves have so much to teach me about stability, transformation, growth, authenticity, resilience, connectedness and wisdom.

My secret #3
Cultivate rituals to connect with my inner space of peace, pray, love and say thank you. My rituals contribute to strengthen and multiply my roots, to reach deep and high, understanding that union is the nature of the soul and separation is the nature of the ego.

My secret #4
Practice, practice, practice with perseverance and sincerity. Yoga is a journey of life, a continual adjustment, the right effort without tension of the mind.

My secret #5
Remind myself that happiness is not something I get from outside and I have the choice to adapt, change and grow to live a full and complete life.
