Nadi Shodhana Pranayama or alternative nostrils breathing technique has tremendous benefits. It balances the flow of breath in both nostrils and both hemispheres of the brain, increasing concentration and offering ease, relief and calmness.
One round is to close the right nostril with the right thumb and inhale slowly without sound and strain through the left nostril then close the left nostril with the ring finger and exhale deeply and comfortably through the right nostril, next inhale through right and exhale through left. Practicing 5 rounds slowly with complete awareness allows spaciousness in the heart and the mind to receive what the world is offering.
