Why is it essential to connect with a little moment of calm everyday, even though you feel OK? I have noticed the COVID pandemic enhances situations of stress and anger. When a little dose of stress enters the body repetitively, and that little dose of stress is not being processed and washed out from the system, unexpected emotional explosions take over a fatigued body and a weak mind. Restoring the energy level becomes unattainable; depression, nervousness and insomnia start to settle in without the intention to leave anytime soon. Soaking in calm everyday is an act of self-respect and self-love. As much as the body is showered and cleaned everyday, the mind as well requires hygiene everyday for optimal health. Restorative Yoga offers endless opportunities to befriend calm and let go of the rest.
